MONTEALEGRE BEACH ARQUITECTOS is a consulting firm providing services in different fields of architecture. Its service embodies from the project inception to construction supervision. An important aspect of its work is the leading and coordination of the multidisciplinary team of specialists needed to define the different parts that integrate in a complete project.

The office has all the necessary working equipment, technical library with up to date product catalogues, computers and software, plotters and document reproduction. Its average work force amounts 3.600 architecture man-hours monthly. Desde 2006 se ha incorporado la tecnología BIM (Building Information Model). Mediante ella se construye un acabado modelo del edificio elevando poderosamente la calidad y profundidad del estudio de cualquier problema de diseño, superando la mayor parte de las dificultades de coordinación y coherencia que se presentan con los métodos tradicionales. Este modelo tridimensional y su interrelación con modelos BIM análogos de las especialidades de ingeniería complementarias, son una herramienta moderna que permite una coordinación eficaz de las instalaciones con la estructura y la arquitectura, asegurando una ejecución de la construcción sin contratiempos. Vía Internet, el cliente cuenta con acceso permanente a un FTP donde tiene acceso continuo a toda la documentación en desarrollo y una mejor posibilidad de participar en el proceso de diseño, comunicando oportunamente sus observaciones.

MONTEALEGRE BEACH ARQUITECTOS was formed in 1971. The founding partners are Alberto Montealegre Klenner (architect Pontificia Universidad Católica P.U.C. 1961) and Myriam Beach Lobos (architect P.U.C. 1964). In 1989, they were joined by Alberto Montealegre Beach (architect Universidad de Chile U.Ch. 1985), in 1990 Manuel Amaya Díaz (architect U.Ch. 1983), and in 2003 by Pía Montealegre Beach (architect P.U.C. 2003 and Magister in Urban Planning). Its permanent staff is formed by the five partners, other architects, draftsmen and administration personnel. It is a group of people conscious of being part of a work team in which personal effort and the compliance with quality control and work procedures are essential.
